Fire monitor water/foam, universal, trailer-mounted, with manual control, with flow rate of 80, 90, 100 l/s, with foam eductor nozzle.
The fire monitor is applied for formation of extinguishing solution streams with adjustable spray angle from a straight stream to a dispersed at 90°. The fire monitor is used in fire hazardous zones for fire suppression, cooling of buildings and technological structures, precipitation of poisoned or radioactive gases, fumes and dusts.
Features:
- The trailer-mounted design allows for quick movement of the nozzle to the fire site;
- The universal foam eductor nozzle quickly generates a foam stream when feeding foam concentrate from a separate tank, and can quickly switch to water if necessary;
- The extinguishing agent flow rate of up to 100 l/s ensures a delivery range of up to 90 meters;
- Low-expansion foam can be delivered.
How does an ejector nozzle work?
- Water is supplied to a water monitor with an foam eductor nozzle through pipes or hoses. A foam concentrate is dosed into the water flow from a separate tank through a vacuum hose by an ejector located in the nozzle. A foam stream is formed at the nozzle outlet, and when the foam concentrate supply is shut off, a solid or sprayed water jet is produced.
Water monitors with foam eductor nozzles eliminate the need for expensive foam dosing pumps and are an effective means of producing high-quality foam for protecting oil and gas facilities.
