A manually operated, portable water-foam  fire monitor with a universal ejector nozzle and adjustable flow rates of 80, 90, or 100 l/s is designed to generate and direct a solid stream, spray jets of water with a variable spray angle, and jets of low-expansion air-mechanical foam.

It is used for extinguishing fires, cooling building and industrial structures, and settling clouds of toxic or radioactive gases, vapors, and dust.

Features:

  • Can be equipped with a manifold with check valves and GM-80-3.0 PM and GM-150-3.0 PM coupling heads.
  • The nozzle is aimed using handwheels.
  • The jet shape is controlled by rotating the nozzle body using handles. The nozzles have a switch for switching between "water" and "foam" modes.

Advantages:

Monitor nozzles with ejector nozzles allow for the rapid generation of a foam stream without the need for expensive foam dosing pump stations. Water is supplied to the nozzle via a pipeline or hose, and a foam concentrate is dosed into the water flow from a separate tank through a vacuum hose by an ejector in the nozzle. The resulting foam stream forms, and when the foam concentrate supply is shut off, a solid or sprayed water jet is produced. This is an effective means of producing high-quality foam for protecting oil and gas facilities.
