#Robotic fire suppression systems
On November 21-22, 2024, FR specialists took part in the LXXVIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Architecture - Construction - Transport - Economics", organized by the St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
The problematic issues of the organization of fire extinguishing process in the engine rooms of nuclear power plants are considered. The need of prompt response to the occurrence of combustion source at the initial stage is substantiated. With the existing methods of ensuring fire safety, it is not always possible to achieve
this goal.
On October 11-12, 2021, the "Safety of the Oil-and-Gas and Transport Industry 2021" International Conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Orenburg branch of VNIIPO EMERCOM of Russia was held at the FGBU VNIIPO of EMERCOM of Russia.
TASS, September 6. A multifunctional robotic complex for fire protection of machine rooms of nuclear power plants unrivaled in Russia was successfully tested at the training fire ground of the Kalinin NPP. In the future, the application of these complexes can be extended to conventional power plants, oil-and-gas, space and other industries.
