Throughout October, the FR Engineering Centre actively participated in the All-Russian "Week Without Turnstiles" campaign. The company opened its production facilities to schoolchildren and students in Petrozavodsk to introduce the younger generation to engineering and blue-collar jobs and to showcase the prospects of high-tech manufacturing.
As part of the campaign, the FR center was visited by groups from:
- Private Comprehensive School No. 1 of Petrozavodsk
- Secondary Comprehensive School No. 9 of Petrozavodsk
- Academic Lyceum of Petrozavodsk
- Petrozavodsk State University (PetrSU)
- Gymnasium No. 30 of Petrozavodsk
Participants learned about the history of the company's founding and development and walked through the main stages of the production cycle—from the receipt of metal at the warehouse to final testing and packaging of finished products. Guests were introduced to all product lines, and their key technical features and applications were explained.
Firefighting robots were of particular interest to schoolchildren and students. The demonstration program included demonstrations of fire tests and a stand simulating a monitoring system for a protected facility. Participants were able to observe the firefighting robots in real time and participate directly in their operation under the supervision of the center's specialists.
Participation in the "Turnstile-Free Week" campaign strengthens FR's partnership with educational institutions in Petrozavodsk and develops an early career guidance system. Investments in youth outreach and the promotion of engineering professions are seen as a strategic contribution to the technological future of the region and the industry.
