CB1B7 control box in general industrial modification is designed for fire monitor control in an explosion-proof version with three DC electric drives and a butterfly valve.
Commands labeled RIGHT, LEFT, UP, DOWN, WIDER, NARROWER, OPEN VALVE, CLOSE VALVE are given from CB control buttons and correspond to forward and reverse rotation for fire monitor and valve electric drives.
The connection between the fire monitor electric drives and the butterfly valve control unit is carried out through the internal RS-485 interface of the CB.
The design of the CB allows the connection of external control units that duplicate the control commands from the CB.
The control box operates both in autonomous and network modes with the CB-NC control box. In the network mode, the connection between the CB and the CB-NC is carried out via the RS-485 interface.
The functions of the CB include the following: forward and reverse rotation of each of the electric drives by commands from the control elements, smooth acceleration and deceleration of the electric drives, operation mode and malfunction displaying by the corresponding indicators, self-protection and electric drive cutoff in case of emergency.
Application areas: non-explosive areas of heated and irregularly heated premises.
